Phi Delta Theta

Phi Delta Theta was organized with three principle objectives: The cultivation of friendship among its members, the acquirement individually of a high degree of mental culture, and the attainment personally of a high standard of morality. These objectives, referred to as the "Cardinal Principles," have guided close to 250,000 men since 1848 when the Fraternity was founded at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Notable alumni include Neil Armstrong, Lou Gehrig, Burt Reynolds, and Benjamin Harrison.

Our chapter has initiated over 1300 members in 80 illustrious years at the University of British Columbia, such as Bill Sauder (Sauder School of Business), and Greg Kerfoot (Vancouver Whitecaps owner). Our brothers are heavily involved in varsity athletics, student government, and everything in between. Phi Delta Theta offers an amazing opportunity for young men to develop leadership skills and make lifelong friends, while having an amazing and unforgettable university experience at the same time.
